arte para ti.
Check it out … it’s a shrine in your pocket:
This sweet little compact — you gotta love the plastic couple — is made by Yoli at Sacred Snatch. Yoli is one cool and crafy chica, and a fellow member of the Sacramento Craft Mafia.
She is heavily inspired by Frida Kahlo, shrines, the Virgin of Guadalupe and Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). She decoupages, glues, beads and glitters away. And the results are unique and fun.
Sacred Snatch offers bags, picture frames and clothing as well. It’s a mix of glam and culture. And in her words, “I know sometimes I can be a bit tacky, but hey, for some reason I do it so well.” And I’m sure some of us can appreciate that.
