seasons change.

(And no, we’re not talking about that Exposé song!)

But alas, the seasons do change, and while you lament the passing of summer into the cooler days of fall (my favorite season, actually), maybe you can sit on your porch with a cool glass of um, regular iced tea and listen to the tinkle of these chimes:

These chimes are the work of Garden Jewels on Etsy. They are fashioned from glass and glass beads, with hand-painted kanji. Each season is represented by a corresponding color — white for winter, green for spring, orangey for summer and brown for fall.

There is a wealth of chimes and other garden accessories at Garden Jewels, so if you’re looking for a handmade touch for your yard or porch, it’s a good place to start.
