Okay, so I was one of those kids that got a lot of hand-me-downs when I was a kid. Lots of sharing amongst cousins and such. And my brother got tons of hand-me-downs when he was a kid too.
Makes me wish we some cool clothes like these to wear when we were growing up:
You’ll find these cute t-shirts and onesies at Two Zany Zebras. You’ve gotta love the cute monsters!
Two Zany Zebras is also the home of the Zarkle, which I discern to be a really cute monster-like being. They’re not scary. Some have one eye. And they’re all unique. And cuddly. This one happens to have a blanket included:
If you have some little ones, or know someone who has some little ones, do check the shop out. Lots of colorful fun things — and your kids won’t grow up feeling bad about having had just hand-me-downs to wear.
Want something unique to celebrate your little one’s birthday? Like, perhaps, one of these?
This is one of the many birthday sets available at liliputians NYC. These sets are lovingly handmade by Heather at lilputians NYC, and can be customized with any number, depending on your child’s age, of course.
In addition to the monkey set above, there are food-themed sets, like a cupcake set and a cake set.
You’ll find all sorts of unique clothing and accessories at liliputians NYC, so if you want your kid to look special, you should check it out. Heather also does plenty of custom orders, and can even help you design your child’s dream outfit!
You can tell your kids to do that with this play set:
This lovely felt creation can be found at Little Boy Blue Boutique (where they’re not just partial to boys … there’s stuff for girls too!).
All the play food is wrapped up in a cute tote that also serves as a reversible tablecloth. There are even felt folks and spoons!
Not feeling like eggs and ham? There’s a dessert version, too. Donuts, eclairs, cake and pie … yum!
There’s more than just fun felt toys at Little Boy Blue Boutique … there are also cute baby shoes (made with felt too) and other lovely baby gifts.
File this under the “wow, I never would have thought of that, but so many people could use it” category:
It’s the Pee-pee Teepee! And so many great colors to choose from!
(And the poem printed on the packaging — which you can also read in full on the product page — is absolutely priceless!)
My brother was born 10 years after I was, so I had to play mom No. 2 many times. And that involved changing diapers. Luckily, I never got squirted, but I saw my mom get nailed once. It was hysterical. (Well, only because it wasn’t me.)
I bet mom wishes she had a teepee back then. Then again, she’s frugal. She probably wouldn’t have sprung the cash for the teepees.
But they would seriously make great baby shower gifts!
