Handmade Parade promises to be a super-fun time for the whole family. About 30 vendors from Sacramento (including many from the Sacramento Craft Mafia and yours truly) and the Bay Area will be on hand with handmade wares!

There will also be several demos, including one on spinning your own yarn and one on making foam-printed notecards (presented by yours truly) and one on making your own jewelry (presented by Peptogirl Industries).

In other news, the Sacramento Craft Mafia also got some major pub on TV on Wednesday, appearing in several segments during Good Day Sacramento! You can watch the opening segment right here. (It’s called “Lisa takes on the Craft Mafia.”)

A full video of the entire segment — which was absolutely hysterical, by the way, and lots of fun to do! — should be available within a couple of weeks. In the meantime, do enjoy the snippet!

It’s the Handmade Parade Spring Fling! The event is Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Several members of the Sacramento Craft Mafia (including myself) will be there, as well as other shops from the surrounding area. Plenty of handmade goodies and homemade baked goods! Mmmmm!
